A future employment precinct — Wyndham (long-term planning)

Transport

Connected to Melbourne and Geelong.

Mambourin East is framed by established transport corridors, with the Melbourne to Geelong rail line on its southern boundary and the Princes Freeway just beyond. Future upgrades will be shaped by the PSP.

Rail

The Melbourne to Geelong rail line forms the southern boundary of the precinct. Wyndham Vale and Tarneit stations serve the surrounding community with regional services to Southern Cross and Geelong.

Freeway

The Princes Freeway (M1) sits just south of the rail line, connecting the area to the Melbourne CBD in one direction and Geelong in the other.

Air

Avalon Airport lies to the south west and Melbourne Airport to the north east, both within driving distance via the freeway network.

Future road upgrades

The future Outer Metropolitan Ring Road corridor runs to the west of the precinct. Further road upgrades will be considered through the future PSP.
